I am a student from a university in Mindanao, and currently we are having research regarding biomass energy. With that, I would like to request data regarding the following:

1. Breakdown of waste biomass by region in the Philippines (2020-2022)

2. Quantity of Agricultural Residues

3. Residue to product ratio (RPR) of crops

4. Residue yield for crop

You asked for Breakdown of waste biomass by region in the Philippines in 2020-2022.

Response to your request

We wish to inform you that biomass resources common in the Philippines are by-products and wastes/residues from agricultural production such as rice husk, livestock manure, sugarcane bagasse, coconut wastes, forestry residues and urban wastes. 

However, the Department of Energy has no available data on the annual biomass production of each region in the country. Nonetheless, we recommend you to refer to the data published by the Philippine Statistics Authority accessible through OpenSTAT with links listed below. From these, the annual biomass production/resources may be estimated using the attached main assumptions in resource calculation of biomass resources:
