Hi, I would like to request the registry table in Excel format of the certified window and split room air conditioner models, in year 2019, 2018, or whichever year is latest available. The data desired are:
1. Model number (indoor/outdoor)
2. Type (inverter, window, etc.)
3. Cooling Capacity
4. Power input
5. Refrigerant type
6. EER
7. Local-made or imported
8. Country of Origin
9. Recommended Retail Price
10. Company/Brand Name (could be hidden if considered confidential in relation to retail price)

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated May 08, 2020 09:25:05 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for List of certified window and split room air conditioner models.

Your FOI request is approved. You may find the information you are requesting in the DOE Website: www.doe.gov.ph/energy-efficiency. Our Lighting and Appliance Testing Laboratory (LATL) is updating a list of certified air conditioners and refrigerating appliances every quarter.

Please note that we are only able to provide some of the information you have requested for as the data you are requesting were not included in the database being curated by LATL. However,  these information are being considered as we expand our database with the implementation of the Republic Act 11285, the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Act.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Director Amelia M. De Guzman, Director of Energy Research and Testing Laboratory Services. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
