I am Maxine Andrea N. Lumbera, a 5th year student from the Ateneo de Davao Unviersity currently doing my research on “A Proposed New Davao International Airport” which aims to promote urban resilience through smart mobility. 

I would like to ask for any quantitative data with regards to the energy consumption of the following airports from 2015-2020. 
1. Ninoy Aquino International Airport
2. Mactan Cebu International Airport
3. Davao International Airport

Dear Ms. Lumbera,

Greetings!

This refers to your letter regarding the request for any quantitative data with regards to the energy consumption of the following airports from 2005 – 2020:

1.    Ninoy Aquino International Airport
2.    Mactan Cebu International Airport
3.    Davao International Airport

Prior to the effectivity of Republic Act 11285, reporting under the Government Energy Management Program was not mandatory. The IRR of RA 11285 became effective on December 2019. As such, data on airport energy consumption is still under collection starting this year.

With respect to your request, may we provide you the database on the available energy consumption from the Survey on Energy Consumption of Establishments (SECE). 

Please note that values reported here are only for 2010 and have no historical series for the requested energy consumption data.
