Dear Mr. Quieta,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Feb 07, 2022 05:48:13 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You requested data on Vehicle Fuel Economy Run for various vehicles such as SUVs, MPVs, Sedans, among others, for the year 2000-2022. Relative to this, please be informed that the Vehicle Fuel Economy Run is not a yearly event
conducted by the DOE.

In our response letter to you, we provided links for the DOE's Fuel Economy Runs conducted on 26-27 May 2016 and 20-22 November 2017 at Clark, Pampanga that you can use as references.

The said events enabled DOE to determine the fuel consumption rating in kilometers per liter of different brand-new vehicles available in the market in accordance with actual highway driving conditions.

Please see the attached documents for the complete list of the participating vehicles' brand and model with their respective fuel economy rating (kilometers per liter).

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi at sec.alfonsocusi@gmail.com. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
