The DOE has no available data on the (1) number and/or adoption rate of Rooftop Solar photovoltaic (PV) panels in the Philippines from 2013 until the most recent data available; and (2) number of photovoltaic systems on a residential unit covering 2013 until the present.

For item no. 2. As of 31 December 2022, for the utility-scale, the DOE has awarded fifty-three (53) Solar Energy Service/Operating Contracts (SESC/SEOC) for Ground-Mounted Solar Power Projects (SPP) and fifteen (15) SESC/SEOC for Roof-Mounted SPPs with installed capacity of 1,393.983 MW and 67.535 MW, respectively.
