2. What is difference of RE Service Contract, Net-Metering and Own-Use? Can I apply net metering without RESC? Can you distinguish the 3?

1. Can you provide the latest PH list of Solar PV sites with Certificate of Own Use, detailing the Owner, Developer, Installed Capacity, Date of Completion, Rooftop or Ground mount?

2. What is difference of RE Service Contract, Net-Metering and Own-Use?  Can you distinguish the 3?

RE Service Contract - shall refer to energy resources that do not have an upper limit on the total quantity to be used. Such resources are renewable on a regular basis, and whose renewal rate is relatively rapid to consider availability over an indefinite period of time. These include, but are not limited to, biomass, solar, wind, geothermal, ocean energy, and hydropower, conforming with internationally accepted norms and standards on dams, and other emerging RE technologies (https://www.doe.gov.ph/sites/default/files/pdf/issuances/dc2019-10-0013.PDF)

RE Project for Own-Use - shall refer to an RE Project located within the premises of or in an area contiguous to an end user's premises, and operated solely for the supply of a portion or all of the electricity requirements of such End-User

Net-metering - A voluntary program that allows electricity end-users to produce electricity and sell the excess to the grid transforming consumers into prosumers (for wider information, kindly visit the DOE website at https://www.doe.gov.ph/1-how-net-metering-works-understanding-basics-policy-regulation-and-standards)

Can I apply net metering without RESC?

Your right to request a review
