Your Request

You asked for Types of Fuel/Energy Used by Households for Cooking.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of historical data of Household sector's Total Final Energy Consumption (TFEC). Please be informed that 2021 and 2022 Household Energy Consumption is not yet available as the Department is still on the process of data consolidation. 

Please be informed that your data requirement on item 2 is not available on our end. You may access the Household Energy Consumption Survey 2011 at PSA website at https://psa.gov.ph/content/electricity-most-common-source-energy-used-households. In 2011, 41% of households were using LPG for cooking. 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi.
