I am Angelica Yang, an energy reporter from BusinessWorld. 

I would like to ask the DoE for information on the statuses of the following plants under San Miguel Corp:

a) the 300 MW coal plant in San Carlos, Negros Occidental;
b) a 300 MW coal expansion project in Malita, Davao; 
c) Central Luzon Premiere Power Corporation’s 4x355 MW project;
(d) Lumiere Energy Technologies Inc.’s 2 x 355 project, both in Pagbilao; and 
(5) a 328 MW coal plant in Davao del Sur

Hope you can provide updates on each of these projects' proponents, location, and status as of July 13, 2021. Thank you!

Please see below updates on SMC Global Power Projects:

a) the 300 MW coal plant in San Carlos, Negros Occidental -  to be changed to LNG as per SMCGP letter dated 21 April 2021;

b) a 300 MW coal expansion project in Malita, Davao-to be discontinued as per SMCGP letter dated 21 April 2021;

c) Central Luzon Premiere Power Corporation’s 4x355 MW project - to be discontinued as per SMCGP letter dated 21 April 2021;

(d) Lumiere Energy Technologies Inc.’s 2 x 355 project, both in Pagbilao - no longer implemented as per SMCGP email dated 14 July 2021;

(5) a 328 MW coal plant in Davao del Sur-to be discontinued as per SMCGP letter dated 21 April 2021
