Hi! I am Jessa Mae Reyes, a fourth-year student of Electrical Engineering at Holy Angel University, I am currently doing my undergrad thesis regarding the electric consumption of resorts in the country.

For this, I would like to know if I can acquire either of the following:

1. Monthly Average Electric Consumption of Resorts in the Philippines for the year 2019
2. Monthly Average Electric Consumption of Commercial Establishment in the Philippines for the year 2019
3. Estimated Monthly Average Electric Consumption of A RESORT in the Philippines for the year 2019

This refers to your inquiry regarding the National Electric Consumption of Resorts.

Pursuant to RA1 1285 or the Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC) Act, its Implementing Rules and Regulations and its governing Memorandum Circular No. MC2020-05-0001, energy-intensive entities or Designated Establishments (DEs) under the Commercial, Industrial, and Transport sectors are enjoined to submit their Annual Energy Utilization Reports (AEURs) to the DOE.

In our letter response to you, we provided DE information from the 2019 reportorial submission. We hope that you find these data beneficial, and we wish you the best of luck in your study.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi at sec.alfonsocusi@gmail.com.
