Good day, I am seeking for national government to interfere or help us here in the province of Basilan in addressing my concern about frequent power outage against Basilan Electric Cooperative (Baselco). This is a long time issue that they can’t provide us a good quality of electric services to the costumers/consumers. Always no power but our electric bill is so high, Please call their attentions to solve this long time problem of power outage. Thank you so much.

Response to Request

We acknowledge your distress brought by the problem of frequent power outage in the province of Basilan. Hence, the DOE in coordination with NEA is providing assistance to the local energy stakeholders in addressing the current power situation. Further, we have informed BASLECO about your concern.

Rest assured that the DOE is doing its best to assist BASELCO to improve its electricity services.
