Hi! I would like to request for information regarding: 

1. Per capita consumption of wood based charcoal in the Philippines for the years 2018-2023

2. Production of wood-based charcoal in the Philippines for the years 2018-2023 (with suppliers/manufacturers, if possible)

3. Per capita consumption of alternative charcoal (ex. coconut charcoal briquette etc. ) in in the Philippines  for the years 2018-2023

4. Production of alternative charcoal in in the Philippines 
 (ex. coconut charcoal briquette etc. ) for the years 2018-2023 (with suppliers/manufacturers, if possible)

Thank you for your request dated Nov 12, 2023 07:19:46 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

This pertains to your request for Consumption of wood-based charcoal in the Philippines from 2018-2022. Please see attached file for your reference.

However, please be informed that we currently do not have any data specific to other types/alternative charcoal.

Further, the data for 2023 is still in the process of consolidation.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Raphael P.M. Lotilla.  Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
