Dear Claudine C,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Dec 06, 2021 07:43:04 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Projects granted certificates of energy projects of national significance (CEPNS).

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved.

Dear Ms. Claudine,

In reference to your request last 6 December 2021, we are providing you the following:

1.) Status of EPNS applications as of December 2021 (Attachment 1)
2.) List of Energy Projects granted with CEPNS as of December 2021 (Attachment 2)

For additional reference, you may access the EICC quick link on the DOE website through (https://www.doe.gov.ph/eicc).

Please be advised that the DOE issued an advisory last 10 December 2020 suspending the processing and the issuance of CEPNS to give way to a thorough evaluation of its effectiveness in terms of securing permits, licenses. etc. (Attachment 3).

In addition, all pending applications were automatically migrated to the Energy Virtual One-Stop Shop (EVOSS) System. A separate advisory will be issued by the DOE once the said suspension is lifted.

We hope you find everything in order.

Thank you and stay safe.
