Your Request

You asked for Solar Power data about the capacity and efficiency.

Response to Request

The capacity efficiency of Solar PV is around 16 to 18 percent based on National Renewable Energy Laboratory (https://www.nrel.gov/) .  

Solar Capacity installed in the Philippines as of November 2021:
Luzon Grid = 640.5 MW 
Visayas Grid = 417.4 MW 
Mindanao Grid = 13.160 MW

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Alfonso G.
