Dear Akmad Donia,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Dec 02, 2020 01:42:30 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Projected demand for Oil Products in Mindanao for until 2030.

"Projections for oil consumption are for total Philippines only, and no major island (L-V-M) breakdown. However, there are socio-economic indicators (such as population) that can be used as an indicator to estimate Mindanao's oil demand projection, or you may also use as reference the share of the oil demand for Mindanao (2018 and below) as a means to disaggregate the national total for 2019 to 2040.

However, we caution on linking the historical and projection data series due to the following: 1) the historical series includes consumption for international aviation and international marine bunkers, which are excluded from the projections until 2040 since these items are categorized as energy flows under total primary energy supply (TPES); 2) fuel input to power generation is likewise excluded in the projections series since it is included under the transformation category. "
