You asked for Energy Conservation Program of DOE.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of the information you requested.

The Republic Act No. 11285 or the “Energy Efficiency and Conservation (EEC) Act” highlighted the role of the government sector in making EEC a national way of life. Hence, the DOE recognizes the vital and indispensable role of all government entities in the implementation of the EEC Act. In line with this, we would like to share with you the Inter-Agency Energy Efficiency and Conservation Committee (IAEECC) Resolution No. 5, s. 2022 or the Government Energy Management Program (GEMP) Guidelines. 

The GEMP Guidelines serves as the operational guide of the government entities in the implementation of the GEMP, particularly in the formulation of EECP, which highlights energy conservation measures, target energy efficiency cost reductions, motor vehicle inventory and other strategies consistent with the GEMP. 

Your right to request a review
