Hi. I would like to request for the latest data on the energy consumption of each company in the country and their industry classification (i.e. industrial, commercial, residential). 

If there's available data on the per business sector classification (e.g. agriculture, mining, education) of each company, kindly include that also.

Thank you for your request dated Aug 18, 2022 05:01:27 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Designated Establishments or DEs refer to private entities identified as energy-intensive industries or those with an annual energy consumption of at least 100,000 kWh. Further, we may only provide you with information on DEs who have complied with their reportorial obligations pursuant to DOE Memorandum Circular No. MC2020-05-0001.

In consideration of the above, the total energy consumption of compliant DEs for the 2021 period per subsector is given in the attached file. We hope that you find our data beneficial in your research endeavor.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Sec. Raphael P. M. Lotilla at rlotilla@doe.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
