I have recently read in the newspapers that the Comprehensive Tax Reform Package will remove the VAT exemption of remittances from OFWs. I already did some research to verify this information but the articles that I found regarding CTRP do not mention anything about this. Please confirm and provide the specific bill/clauses stating this information. I would also like to know details such as VAT rate, any exemptions, etc.
