Hi! It was said that anyone who received the SBWS but is no longer employed whether voluntary/termination during the ECQ period dated March 17, 2020 - May 31, 2020, must return the amount granted by the Government to the company employee(s).
I am from Negros Oriental which was working with ECE Contact Centers. I resigned last July 24, 2020, but won't be able to process my clearance because the company is asking me to return the amount that we received though we are under GCQ when I resigned. Is this practice valid? There are several employees who recently resigned that are worried about this.

I also have read that the return of the benefits is accepted until June 15, 2020 only. Their claim was they're going to return to SSS the "Ayuda" that we received during the ECQ period. This has worried several employees who just resigned from work also as instead of getting cleared from the company so we can get our separation pay. We are being asked to return first the said money though it was not included in the joint memorandum that even under GCQ and we stopped our employment either voluntary/termination, we must return the said money. Can you please clear this out for us if we misunderstood the memorandum?
