September 9, 2022 Dear Camille Orlino, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Aug 25, 2022 09:28:58 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Philippine Health Statistics 2020 and 2021. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. We regret to inform you that the PHS 2020 is not yet complete because the data on fetal deaths 2020 is not yet available from PSA, which is the primary source of the number of registered deaths in the country. However, all other statistical tables from PHS 2020 can now be requested . Moreover, the 2021 PHS is also not available for the same reason, that the 2021 data on deaths and births are not yet available. They have in their website the preliminary death statistics only Thank you For further assistance you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site: https://www.foi.gov.ph/help. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the DOH Central Appeals and Review Committee, at foi@doh.gov.ph.
