Your request You asked for Projected Population of Differently-abled Persons in the Philippines. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the data on the projected population of mobility impairment in the country. However, the Department of Health has the Philippine Registry for Persons with Disability wherein there were about 51,297 orthopedic type of disability presently registered in the system. Attached is the data on the Distribution of PWDs with issued IDs by Type of Disability as of October 2018. For inquiries, kindly contact the DOH Disease Prevention and Control Bureau (DPCB) locals 1750-1752 and look for Ms. Ma. Cristina Raymundo or Ms. Dawn dela Cruz.
