Greetings! 

I hope this message finds you well. I am a researcher currently studying cryptosporidiosis, and I am interested in learning more about the local data available on this disease.

Specifically, I am looking to gather information on the prevalence and incidence of cryptosporidiosis in the country as well as any available data on the risk factors and transmission patterns associated with the disease.

If possible, I would greatly appreciate any data or information that you may have on this topic, as I believe it would be valuable to my research

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. 

We regret to inform you that DOH does not collect data on cryptosporidiosis. Data gathered by the DOH Epidemiology Bureau are posted in the DOH website at https://doh.gov.ph/publications/serials

However, you may wish to contact and inquire with the Philippine Statistics Authority for this data request

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the DOH Central Appeals and Review Committee, at foi@doh.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
