Covid-19 virus is known to be very highly infectious, contagious and deadly. Provide me the following:


1. Documented guidelines of DOH's infectious wastes' management and proper disposal of each of the used PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment) for communities, recreational venues, public transports, businesses, households and residences: 

PPEs (Personal Protective Equipment) are as follows:

-Surgical masks
-non-surgical masks
-goggles
-face shields
-gloves
-disposable gowns 


Note: Include documents with date of publication and scientific studies with dates performed as support.

You asked for Documented/guidelines DOHs infectious wastes management and proper disposal non-hospital settings.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, you may wish to contact The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) specifically their  Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) at recordsco@emb.gov.ph since this for non-hospital setting, DENR has 
solid waste management plan for each LGUs and/or communities.
