Hi, as part of our audit activity in a hospital, we would like to ask the following  -

1) What are the required training (and date coverage e.g BLS or ACLS good for # of years) for Nurses, Allied Medical and Doctors working in a government hospital ?
2) What are the required standards for Records Management and Supplies Management - Storage, Warehousing ? 
3) What are required Data / Coding Standards to follow when developing Information Systems ?

1) What are the required training (and date coverage e.g BLS or ACLS good for # of years) for Nurses, Allied Medical and Doctors working in a government hospital ?
- Please refer to the website of the Health Facilities and Services Regulatory Bureau (HFSRB) at http://hfsrb.doh.gov.ph and Health Human Resource Development Bureau (HHRDB) at http://hhrdb.doh.gov.ph for the requested training requirements

2) What are the required standards for Records Management and Supplies Management - Storage, Warehousing ? 
- For records management of government hospitals, please refer to the Hospital Health Information Management Manual 4th Edition at http://bit.ly/DOHHFDBManuals

While regarding health record disposition and storage, you may consult with the National Archives of the Philippines (NAP) as they are in a better position to provide technical assistance requested. Please note however that standards for supplies management, specifically storage and warehousing is not within the purview of HFDB

3) What are required Data / Coding Standards to follow when developing Information Systems ?
- Kindly coordinate with the Knowledge Management and Information Technology Service (KMITS) for the request for the development of information system
