The Part I of the manual delves into the Administration of Nursing Service. It focuses on the major functions of Nursing Administrators, that is, Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing, and Controlling. Its chapters aim to cultivate desirable attitudes and dispositions in the performance of duties and responsibilities such as determining necessary actions based on the needs that arise. 

Part II, on the other hand, focuses on the Management and Delivery of Nursing Care Services. Its chapters discuss the management's role in providing nursing care services and identifying crucial competencies necessary for the professional growth of the nursing staff. These competencies serve as guides in the performance of duties and responsibilities in the promotion, prevention, cure, and rehabilitation of health conditions of patients.
