Hi! I would like to request for information regarding:

1.) The number of reported gastrointestinal infection (bacteria) cases in the Philippines from the year 2019-2023.

2.)The top 10 most cities of metro manila who have the highest infection rates regarding gastrointestinal specifically bacterial infection.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

At present, the Epidemiological Modeling and Research Division (EMRD) of the Epidemiology Bureau can only provide national data since the subnational data are still under embargo. However, we can provide Global and Philippine data (latest available is 2019) generated from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study. Please see attached file. For more information about the GBD study and their publicly available data, you may access their site at https://www.healthdata.org.
