Thank you for your request dated Sep 03, 2023 03:41:48 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Statistical data of Heart Disease in Bicol Region year 2020-2023.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

The requesting party also filed a walk in request for data on morbidity and mortality of cardiovascular diseases in Bicol region for the year 2013-2023 and the available data is only for 2014-2022. We already consolidated the data to cover the request in the portal as well as the walk in request.

As to the inpatient and outpatient due to heart disease in the Bicol region for 2020-2023, the Bicol CHD does not have data on this since these are hospital data. However, the requesting party also filed a walk in request for data on a list of hospitals in the Bicol region catering to cardiovascular and offers cardiac rehabilitation.

There are two (2) hospitals in Bicol region catering to Cardio vascular and offers cardiac rehabilitation: (these are DOH hospitals)

Bicol Regional Hospital and Medical Center (BRHMC) - Rizal St., Legazpi City
Bicol Medical Center (BMC) - Concepcion Pequeña, Naga City
