Statistics on FDA license and CPR on ENDS manufacturers and Distributors

Requested from DOH by M. Tiu at 03:17 PM on May 30, 2019.
Purpose: For Taxation of E-Cigarettes (For funding the UHC) re: SB 2233 - Increasing the Excise Tax Tobacco
Date of Coverage: 01/01/2014 - 05/30/2019
Tracking no: #DOH-743969049863

Tiu 03:17 PM, May 30, 2019

Good Day.
The National Tax Research Center (NTRC) is currently conducting a study on E-Cigarettes in the Philippines. Since DOH - AO 2014-0008, the rules and regulations on ENDS or E-Cig, which requires ENDS manufacturers and distributors secure a FDA license to operate and a CPR. Thus, we would like to request the statistics of the ENDS Manufacturers and/or Distributors together with their names; saleable items; location; FDA license No. and CPR. Thank you very much in advance. This will help to establish a good basis to tax e-cigarettes for funding the UHC.
