Number of evacuees who died since the start of the Marawi crisis

Requested from DOH by J. Omac at 01:54 PM on Jun 21, 2017.
Purpose: Research
Date of Coverage: 05/23/2017 - 06/15/2017
Tracking no: #DOH-747319639608

Omac 01:54 PM, Jun 21, 2017

Good day!

I would like to request the data on the number of evacuees who died in evacuation centers since the start of the Marawi crisis until June 15, 2017. There has been confusion in the media when it was first reported that 40 people died due to dehydration, and 19 from other illnesses. Sec. Ubial clarified that she meant four and not forty died from dehydration. In another report ARMM Health secretary Kadil Sinolinding said that three died of dehydration, while 39 others died of other illnesses.

To clear the confusion, is there any official record of the number of casualties?
