June 29, 2017 Dear John Paul Omac, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jun 21, 2017 01:54:21 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Number of evacuees who died since the start of the Marawi crisis. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, please be informed that the Department of Health (DOH) does not have the information requested. However, you may request the information directly from Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (MDRRMC) since the MDRRMC is the official mandated government agency to collect data on number of evacuees who died since the start of the Marawi crisis. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing toUndersecretary Lilibeth C. David, Chair of Data Governance Oversight Commitee / DOH FOI Central Appeals and Review Committee, at medatagov.doh@gmail.com.
