Good day! 

I am KEVIN C. DIMIAO, a nurse by profession since 2012. I have been working as a nurse for 9years all in all.
I am currently working as a regular nurse at ABUYOG DISTRICT HOSPITAL under the Province of Leyte for 6years since 2016, with a nursing attendant item only. It would be a great honor if i could work in RHU-Abuyog as a regular nurse by item. I will comply with the necessary requirements if lateral entry would be allowed. I wrote this letter to find out if my request would be acknowledge because ive been trying to inquire at DOH-Tacloban, the response is slow, or no response

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have  the information you have requested. 

With regards to your request, the DOH Regional Office 8 Eastern Visayas does not have authority over the two health facilities, particularly the hiring of regular staff. Hiring of personnel is under the jurisdiction of the Local Government Units concerned. Hence, we would advise you to refer your concern to the Province of Leyte and/or the Abuyong LGU
