As per Health Facility Development Bureau (HFDB), please be informed that The Department of Health has developmental standards for general hospitals and selected health care facilities only. Administrative Order No. 2012-0012 Rules and Regulations Governing New Classification of Hospitals & Other Health Facilities articulates the different classifications and service capabilities of health care facilities. Should you find the facility you have in mind under classifications in the above mentioned document, you can refer to the Administrative Order No. 2016-0042 Guidelines in the Application of DOH Permit to Construct for the planning and design guidelines of specific health care facilities.
