Dear Charlene Cruz,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 16, 2023 01:39:03 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for Health Data on Diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved.

We are sending you the 2022 data on Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus reported in the Field Health Services Information System (FHSIS). However, the data on diabetic nephropathy cases is not available in the FHSIS. Furthermore, the FHSIS Team forwarded the request on Chronic Kidney Disease to the appropriate unit from the Epidemiology Bureau for their appropriate response.

In addition, the FHSIS data for the previous years (2019-2021) are available at the DOH website: https://www.doh.gov.ph/publications/serials (FHSIS Annual Report > Non-Communicable Disease).

 Thank you
