Good day,

I would like to ask for statistical data on reported cases of a somatic symptom disorder, illness anxiety disorder,
functional neurological symptom disorder (conversion disorder); psychological factors affecting other medical conditions, factitious disorder for our abnormal psychology courses as we are asked to gather information regarding this topic for further know its current situation in the country.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have  the information you have requested. We regret to inform you that the DOH Epidemiology Bureau does not collect cases on  Dissociative Disorders and Somatic Symptom Disorders. 

We can only provide you the 2017 Mental Health Atlas published by the World Health Organization (WHO). The Philippines country profile is at the link: https://www.who.int/mental_health/evidence/atlas/profiles-2017/PHL.pdf?ua=1
