Hello!

We are Grade 11 students studying Health Allied (HA) at the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas. We are conducting a research entitled, "A Content Analysis on Air Pollution Caused by Vehicle Exhaust to Infant Mortality in the Philippines" as part of our requirements for the subject Research II. The study intends to assess the effects of environmental exposures through vehicle exhaust during pregnancy. 

I would like to request an information regarding The number of cases regarding infant deaths caused by Car/Vehicle Pollution in the Philippines.

You asked for The number of cases regarding infant deaths caused by Car/Vehicle Pollution in the Philippines.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have  the information you have requested. 

We regret to inform you that the DOH Epidemiology Bureau does not collect the data on infant deaths caused by car/vehicular pollution in the Philippines. Unfortunately, this is not included in the causes of injuries collected through ONEISS.

We suggest you also coordinate with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) at http://psa.gov.ph for this data request
