Policy on discharging a New Born patient without informing defects to parents

Requested from DOH by H. OLMILLO at 03:32 PM on May 19, 2021.
Purpose: For the basis of corrective action to be imposed to the concern hospital (if any)
Date of Coverage: 05/18/2021 - 05/19/2021
Tracking no: #DOH-870246204495

OLMILLO 03:32 PM, May 19, 2021

I am a parent of a new born baby last Feb. 27 21 at Ciudad Medical Zamboanga.
We got discharged on March 1, 21. We were given the clearance for discharge and given and briefed with the home medication instruction for both my baby and my wife. I thought, all was well and no problem since we were CLEARED for discharge.
Fast forward, on the 16th of May, 2021, we went to see her Pedia doctor to clarify whether my baby has no hole in her anus.. Only that that, Dr.Reyes checked that my baby has IMPERFORATED ANUS. Thus, it is allowed to discharge patient WITHOUT proper info for defects to parents?
