Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested.

We regret to inform you that we do not have the data being requested. The Online National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (ONEISS) does not have the data specific to injury occurrences among healthcare workers. Also, needlestick injuries can only be captured once specified by the reporting facility. However, we have the data on injuries caused by contact with sharp objects.

We only have the data on the following natures of injuries:
Abrasion
Avulsion
Burn
Concussion
Contusion
Fracture (Closed- and Open-type)
Open Wound
Traumatic Amputation

Should you wish to modify their request based on the above-mentioned available data on ONEISS, please send another eFOI Request

Thank you
