Good Day! I would like to request the following data for my architectural thesis:
1. Total number of barangay health workers in Cebu City
2. Training programs for BHW regarding mental health
This data will help my research generate the best possible result that would represent the population we are aiming for in terms of Design development and spatial capacity.

Your FOI request is approved.
Please be informed that there are 1,232 BHWs in Cebu City, Cebu, and this is based on the data encoded by the Central Visayas -Center for Health Development-DOH as of Nov. 16, 2023. You may also visit the National BHW Registry System website: https://bhw.doh.gov.ph for further information.
Further, the DOH-BLHSD developed the 2022 BHW Reference Manual, to be used as a training reference by the Local Government Unit. The said manual includes DOH programs and projects, and it includes Senior citizens' basic information that the BHWs should share in their assigned communities.
