You asked for Existing proposals for Regional Respiratory Hospital.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

The Philippine Health Facility Development Plan 2020-2040 lays out the development of priority health facilities in the country towards the realization of the provisions in the Universal Health Care Act. The development of hospitals catering to priority specialty care such as respiratory/lung care is included in the plan. The direction of the Department of Health is to establish Specialty Centers by designating existing DOH hospitals across the country to be capacitated in specialty care. This strategy would enable the government to maximize its limited resources while ensuring provision of specialty care services to all.

The designated Lung Specialty Centers in Regions 1 to 5 are the following DOH Hospitals:

- Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center
- Cagayan Valley Medical Center
- Dr. Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center
- Batangas Medical Center
- Ospital ng Palawan
- Bicol Regional Hospital and Medical Center

Since the respective hospitals are the data owners of the documents you are requesting, please reach out directly to the hospitals to request copies of said documents
