November 4, 2022 Dear Erica David, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 14, 2022 04:15:11 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Cost of Hospitalization. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. The average daily cost of hospitals are not part of the hospital's annual statistical report, thus our office cannot provide such. We recommend to ask from the Hospitals directly, keeping in mind that hospitals with different service capabilities (hospital level) ) vary differently on costing (e.g. a level 1 hospital's costing may be much lower than a level 3 hospital's) . For clarifications on this matter, please contact Health Facility Development Bureau (HFDB) at Tel. No. (02) 8651-7800 Local 1401 or through email at hfdb@doh.gov.ph. Thank you very much. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the Central Appeals and Review Committee, at foi@doh.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you. Respectfully, FOI Decision Maker FOI Officer
