Good day. May I inquire if there is a department, a program, or a committee that takes care of functional foods or nutraceuticals, food supplements, herbal supplements in FDA?
If there is none, may I know who in FDA would be the best person to approach regarding functional foods, and how to reach them? Who can we approach, who is in charge of FDA regulations or who is in contact with FDA regulatory commission, or who is making the plans for amendment of regulations? Thank you

The Center for Food Regulation and Research (CFRR) regulates the manufacture, importation, exportation, distribution, sale, offer for sale, transfer, promotion, advertisement, sponsorship of, and/or, where appropriate, the use and testing of food products and food/dietary supplements.
The Product Research and Standards Development Division (PRSDD) of the CFRR develops standards and regulations for its covered products and establishments.
