October 21, 2019 Dear oliver gutierrez, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 05, 2019 11:36:52 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Top 5 regions with the highest number of cancer-related case.. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have [some of]* the information you have requested. Please note that we do not have data on the highest number of cancer related case. In addition, the 2015 Philippine Cancer Facts and Estimates which is the official cancer data was already provided to you in your previous eFOI request #DOH-045249141314. At present, the DOH does not have a registry, however we based the Cancer statistical data in the 2015 Philippine Cancer Facts and Estimates, a joint project of the DOH and the Philippine Cancer Society that issues data every five (5) years. Also, the next estimates will come out in 2020. Further, we would like to refer you to the following institution for data collection: 1. Philippine Cancer Society 2. Cancer CARE Registry Philippines Foundation, Inc. 3. Society of Gynecologic Oncologist 4. Philippine Breast Cancer Society 5.
