You asked for List of Hospitals Specializing in Heart Diseases in the Philippines.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

The Philippine Health Facility Development Plan 2020-2040 lays out the development of priority health facilities in the country towards the realization of the provisions in the Universal Health Care Act. The development of hospitals catering to priority specialty care such as cardiovascular is included in the plan. The direction of the Department of Health is to establish Specialty Centers be designing existing DOH hospitals across the country to be capacitated in specialty care. This strategy would enable the government to maximize its limited resources while ensuring the provision of specialty care services to all. The list of designated Cardiovascular Specialty Centers is provided in the Department Order No. 2021-0001 Designation of Selected DOH Hospitals as Specialty Centers (bit.ly/DO20210001-SpecialtyCenters)
