October 27, 2020 Dear Jinno Ronato, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 10, 2020 05:54:50 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Mental Health status. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have [some of]* the information you have requested. Currently, the Department of Health, Disease Prevention and Control Bureau-National Mental Health Program (DPCB-NMHP) is currently in the process of collecting statistical data related to mental health disorders and does not have any statistics on your requested information. However, you may refer to the World Health Organization's Mental health country report at this link: https://www.who.int/mental_health/evidence/atlas/profiles-2017/PHL.pdf?ua=1 You may also directly coordinate with the National Center for Mental Health, being the premier government specialty mental health hospital in the country. As for the mental health cases in Eastern Visayas, you may directly inquire with our mental health coordinator for specific information requests.
