- by month, by week, and by brand
2. Total cost of vaccine
- by brand in each month, in every week
3. Individual purchase and actual negotiated price for one vial of each vaccine by brand
- by month, by week, and by batch arrival

Regarding this FOI request, we regret to inform you that this request on the purchase cost of vaccines is covered under the exception No. 5 of the Freedom of Information - Inventory of Exceptions.

The purchase cost or price of COVID vaccines is a financial information that is considered a trade secret. Although it can be argued that generally, the purchase cost of products is not considered as a trade secret, we must also consider that the fact the COVID-19 vaccines are not yet fully authorized to be distributed in the country. Their distribution and use is only under the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) hence, these vaccine are not yet available for commercial distribution. That being said, their prices are not disclosed to the public.

Is this request offensive?
