Good day! I am a fifth year BS Architecture student from the Technological University of the Philippines – Manila. 

I would like to request a copy of the ff:
●	Number of cancer cases in the Ilocos Region by type of cancer
●	Latest mortality and morbidity rate for cancer in the Ilocos Region by type of cancer
●	Registered facilities that offers cancer care in the Ilocos Region 
●	Number of registered and specialized doctors in the Ilocos Region

This information will be used as input for my thesis, which is strictly for academic purposes only.

You asked for Cancer Statistics in Ilocos Region.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

At present, the Epidemiological Modeling and Research Division (EMRD) of the Epidemiology Bureau can only provide national data since the subnational data are still under embargo. However, we can provide Global and Philippine data (latest available is 2019) generated from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study. For more information about the GBD study and their publicly available data, you may access their site at https://www.healthdata.org.
