Good day! I would like to ask for the following information of yearly surveillance report 2010 to date in Region V (Bicol) only. 

1. Number of reported cases of foodborne diseases/infection associated with eating raw or contaminated animal meat such as Escherichia Coli also known as (E.Coli), Salmonella, Trichinosis, listeria, food poisoning

2. Please also specify the year, gender and age as the disease was reported. Please also include the annual morbidity and mortality rate of the said diseases if possible.

Response to your request

Per our data holder of FHSIS & PIDSR at DOH Regional Office 5, the requested data on food borne diseases/infection associated with eating raw or contaminated animal meat is not available at the CHD because it is not one of the health indicators being reported under the FHSIS & PIDSR. You may consult the different hospitals in the Bicol region as this may be included in the hospital data. Refer to the list of DOH Hospitals posted in the DOH website at https://doh.gov.ph/doh-hospitals-directory or the National Health Facility Registry (NHFR) website at https://nhfr.doh.gov.ph/VActivefacilitiesList
