Greetings! I am researching for my thesis with regards to the morbidity, and existing cases of chronic illness in the Philippines.

I would like to request information regarding:

1) Latest Regional/Provincial Statistics population of persons considered to have chronic illnesses (particularly non-communicable and communicable diseases) in the country.

Your Request

You asked for The population of people living in the Philippines with chronic illnesses and morbidity cases.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

 At present, the Epidemiological Modeling and Research Division (EMRD) of the Epidemiology Bureau can only provide national data on Chronic Diseases since the subnational data are still under embargo. However, we can provide Global and Philippine data (latest available is 2019) generated from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) study. Please see attached file. For more information about the GBD study and their publicly available data, you may access their site at https://www.healthdata.org.
