Good day, I would like to request the latest statistical record on the mental health of the people residing in Quezon City or any record and information on the state of the mental health of the citizens in Quezon City. Thank you!

Your request

You asked for Mental Health in Quezon City.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have [some of]* the information you have requested. The National Mental Health Program currently does not have ANY OFFICIAL data on the statistics on mental health disorders in our country in all its aspects. The program is currently developing a registry and information system to gather these information. We hope they can await as the department, more specifically, the program strives to address their concerns and strengthen mental health in our country. 

We are only able to provide the list of Accredited Psychiatric Facilities in the Philippines. For further reference, please visit the link below:

 We are can also provide you the regional level data on Alzheimer's Disease Mortality Rate for 2016. You may view this in the Philippine Health Statistics Annual Report at https://www.doh.gov.ph/sites/default/files/publications/2016_PHILIPPINE-HEALTH-STATISTICS.pdf

Finally, there is the Mental Health Atlas 2017 Philippine data that is posted at the World Health Organization website that you could cite as reference: https://www.who.int/mental_health/evidence/atlas/profiles-2017/PHL.pdf?ua=1

We also suggest you coordinate with the Quezon City Health Department managed by the Quezon City LGU for city data on mental health.
