Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. 

Please be advised that the FDA CDRRHR does not have any information on the studies on how facemasks protect viruses, efficacy of using facemasks against viruses, or the long term effects of wearing facemasks. Please coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology  (DOST) regarding these research studies on face masks.
