Your Request

You asked for Monitoring of batches and lots of covid vaccines since we are still in clinical trial..

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 

First, please be informed that the COVID-19 vaccines used in the vaccination program are not part of the clinical trial protocol. The  vaccines used were under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) which were authorized by the FDA using the interim clinical data considering the situation, risks and benefit profile of the vaccines.

Currently, the Comirnaty bivalent vaccine is now registered and therefore has been issued with a Certificate of Registration. You can verify the registration through this link: https://verification.fda.gov.ph/Home.php

Second, almost all batches or lot have been reported with adverse reactions. There were no reports or safety signals that have been linked to the  quality of the vaccines.
