Your request

You asked for Level 3 Hospital data.

Response to your request

1. Please refer to the estimated cost to establish health facilities provided in the Philippine Health Facility Development Plan 2020-2040. The said plan is accessible at the official website of the Department of Health (doh.gov.ph).

2. Based on the Administrative Order No. 2023-0013 Revised Guidelines on the Establishment of General Hospitals in the Philippines, there is no provision explicitly requiring a standard distance between a proposed hospital and an existing hospital. For distance requirements to other facility types, you may review the provisions of the National Building Code of the Philippines and other pertinent Local Government Codes with jurisdiction over the proposed sites.

3. The DOH does not warrant a standard and/or minimum number of beds for sport medicine/orthopedic rehab in a general hospital can be based on the actual and projected caseload of the hospital.
